Course evaluation results may be influenced by outside factors. In particular, students tend to give higher ratings to small courses rather than large courses, to courses in which they are expecting a relatively high grade, and to courses in their major rather than general distribution requirement. If you plan to enroll in a summer or winter course at another institution and the course equivalent is not listed in Transferology, you may request course equivalencies via the Course Equivalency Service between March 1 and May 15 or November 1 Course Evaluations. Students in every course, clinic or seminar, regardless of enrollment and regardless of whether they are taught by a full-time or part-time faculty member, must be given the opportunity to evaluate the course using the law school’s course evaluation system. Current students should first use Transferology to identify a matching course equivalent. If one does not exist in Transferology, students are able to submit a Course Equivalency Request along with a course syllabus and we will work with academic units to have the syllabus evaluated for transfer credit.
